Bug Description

it should be attempted to merge the me menu with the messaging menu.
this requires design ideas, discussion and mockups!

wireframes are especially welcome..

I for one believe that with the more use of top panel in unity it is really needed to clear things up in the panel and merging these two menus would really clear alot of confusion for people.

There already is this beautiful mockup by Saleel Velankar, which was published on the Ayatana discussion mailing list..
