Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.04 64-Bit
indicator-keylock 1.5.0-0~ppa1 Indicator for Lock Keys

When I turn on the Caps lock I receive the OSD of "A Caps Lock on" and an A appears in the indicator applet. Turning on the Num Lock just displays an OSD of 1 Num Lock on but it doesn't display anything in the indicator applet.

At present, only one of the keys will display in the applet, decided by the GConf key "/apps/indicator-keylock/key_shown". The next version (which will hopefully be done soon) will have a nice preferences dialog for selecting that (along with all the other options). Beyond that, I am working on letting it show more than one, but it probably won't be for a little while yet.

Changed in indicator-keylock:

importance: Undecided → Wishlist

Having Num + Caps would be nice.

And clicking on it should enable/disable the function.

Do you know this one :

As a workaround I created a script that launches a second instance in autostart.

Of course they start indicating the same key, and I have to change one of them manually.

I wanted to use gconftool to change the key_shown between the two instances, but there is no such key
