Bug Description

When using a custom format of the datetime indicator using dconf-editor, other locations are displayed in 12H time.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click on the date indicator, and select "Time & Date Settings".

2. Clock tab

3. Choose Locations button

4. Select some locations

5. Using dconf-editor, set
/com/canonical/indicator/datetime/time-format = custom
/com/canonical/indicator/datetime/custom-time-format = %a %Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %Z

6. Click on the datetime indicator. Location times are displayed in 12H format, regardless of the current locale or other settings.

Using 24H format works, but then I cannot set a custom format. How about a "location-custom-time-format" string?

I don't think that's a problem. The fact that you're using %H and %Z implies that it's 12H, not 24H. In that case, indicator-datetime shouldn't fiddle around with a custom-set format, and that's why you only get 12H time.

Hi Bilal,

How does using %H (hours in 24-hours format) and %Z (timezone) imply 12H format? My indicator clock is certainly in 24-hour format using this string.
