Repeating alarms don't repeat

Bug Description
When I set a repeating alarm to wake me up for work each workday morning, it will go off one time after I set it and from that point on will not go off and will not show in the datetime indicator.
If I edit and save the alarm, it will once again show up in the datetime indicator and will once again go off once, and from that point on will once again not repeat and not show up in the datetime indicator.
