Bug Description
I installed the alarm-clock-applet under Ubuntu 14.04, running on a notebook HP Compaq nx6110, and using gnome fallback (metacity).
The applet installed without errors, and clicking the clock icon on the menubar I could access the setup.
I entered a timer setup, set the config to show the timer and started the countdown.
The timer did not show and the icon became unresponsive to left-click, so I could not access anymore the setup (right click continue to work, and I can access the "about" menu.
I restarted the notebook and the icon this time shows on the side the timer. I could access once the setup menu, which I did to reset the counter, but again the icon became unresponsive and the timer froze.
