Bug Description

Using gnome-classic, I didn't want some of the new indicators (e.g. messaging, keyboard layout switcher) that I could not deactivate.

Attached is a simple patch that allows indicators to be hidden through a dialog on the panel applet as well as through dconf.

Thanks a lot for your contribution!

Since it's a design change, I'm marking this needs-design so the Ayatana design team can review the design of the dialog and suggest improvements if needed.

@bilalakhtar; if this change only affects Gnome Classic, and does not make any changes to Unity, this change does not need design approval. Design approval is only required if the Unity interface is going to be modified in any way.

BTW, indicators should remain non-configurable in Unity, but no objection to this landing if it *only* affects Gnome Classic.

Per John Lea: This ticket does not require a design-approval. Therefore can we move it forward?
