Is there a sample admission card?

Here is a scan of the admission card. It needs to be converted to an open office document.

the dimension is 5.1" by 6.3".

In actual fact the card is to play the role of a photo card and being that it was not software induced, it has to be of such measurement (5" by 6.1") atleast to make it handy. But if the only way our intended software can handle it, is that its format be set to a standard paper size, i will state here that in an average A4 paper, it side distances are 3.2" by 1.1" each from both sides

Added a draft template for the admission card in Open Office format. There are some fields which need to be clarified and are indicated as such in the draft template file.

The file is located at modules/NMCNAdmissionCard/letters/admission_card_template.odt and can be opened in Open/Libre Office. To make changes, simply save it and commit.

It does not appear that the following fields are tracked in iHRIS Qualify:
   Written Papers I
   Written Paper II
   Written Papers III

Nor am I sure what O/P Exam Starts refers to.

Should this data be added to the customizations?

Dear Carl,

These are components of the examination and are not tracked in the
NMCN site. O/P Exam stands for Oral/Practical Examination, which is
another component of the examination. However, the results of the
examinations are tracked in the application as a drop down list.

In order for this to be effective, we need to create additional fields in the Examination Form. For instance the field in the title is for the Title of the Examination - such as Final Examination in Nursing Training. This needs to be created as a drop down field in the examination form. However, I do not think it is necessary to create fields for the different components of the examination which the candidate has to take part in if it can be assumed from the title of the Examination.

The name field is the name of the Candidate.

The photo space needs to be linked to the latest photo of the person on the person view.

2. The Centre - which field on which form did you use for this? I
need to confirm is this is the correct source of the information from
the Council.

3. The spaces to be filled in for the Written Papers - I need to
confirm if these are start dates for the examinations and see if there
is any way these can be included as fields for the examination form.

For the name, that should be the name of the cadre?

If you open the template file in the link a few comments above, you will see the fields used, such as {{{exam+exam_number}}}. These can be easily changed. One of the fields used was the name of the training institution.

facilitate the use of the Examination Card template:

1. Examination Title - mapped text field.

2. Examination Centre - mapped text field.

Can this be added to the list of to do in a separate bug report or can
it be tracked in this bug report?

Either one is fine. If it has a use outside of the admission card I would probably put it as a new bug. If it is only for the admission card, then I would put it in this bug report.

Two new fields are required in the Examination form for use in the Examination Admission Card and to track each examination when the application is modified to add more examinations to a Training:

1. Examination Title - text mapped field.

2. Examination Centre - text mapped field.
