Pressing "Esc" does not exit the datetime-indicator Calendar

Bug Description
When user presses F10 (or Alt+F10) to use the keyboard to access the datetime-indicator and has the cursor/focus in the Calendar-view (the days of the month), pressing "Esc" will not exit the user from this indicator. The only way to get out of the indicator is to use the mouse. This should not be!
