Bug Description
The background for the comment box seems to be statically set to a light color, however the text color is not. When one uses a theme with light fonts (as dark themes typically have) it becomes difficult to impossible to see text when typing.

I am not even sure this is in the right place, but here goes. Obviously, installing java on ubuntu is a chore -- just look at the number of queries on the subject. One set of instructions of the many offered directs one to the Java site with the further admonition to go to the bottom of the contract, click on the OK button, hit enter . . . and that's it.
That is no it. Doing just this can have your download facility tied up forever. Do this:
Go to the end of the contract. Hit TAB. This will highlight the OK. Then hit Enter. This will bring up another page in which you can accept or not accept the contract (YES or NO). Tab to YES, and hit enter. Then things should be copacetic. All of this likely has been totally clear to the people who don't need instruction in the first place, but it took me hours to discover.
