Bug Description

When "related project" is chosen to be ubuntu brainstorm, then the category comes up asking for more information. But there are no options in the drop down list. Nor can you type in it to suggest an option.

So you keep getting the warning message ;
"Please choose the project category the more closely related to your submission."

Please note that the second requested category should be uniformly referred to - and a good name might be "project category".

Confirming this bug.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to one of your own ideas.
2) Click the second pencil to edit the rationale.
3) Choose brainstorm.ubuntu.com as the related project.
4) Click 'Save"
5) Observe big warning message telling you to choose a category. However, note that you in fact can not choose a category. Thus, you can not edit your rationale.

I can confirm this. I'm trying to separate my old ideas into rationale and solution, but Brainstorm won't let me save this idea http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/12305 . It gives the message "Please choose the project category the more closely related to your submission." when the Related Project is set to brainstorm.ubuntu.com however the "Category" drop-down box next to the project (not the Global Category above) isn't clickable.

Interestingly, the unclickable Category box disappears if the project is changed to something else and then back to brainstorm.ubuntu.com

I'm in Konqueror BTW

I can confirm this as well. As an idea reviewer, i've tried to fix other peoples submissions and have run across this.

Confirming for when editing an idea.

Workaround: Select any other 'related project' and then change it back to 'brainstorm.ubuntu.com' using the direct tool in the idea. (The pencil that gives you a drop down right there.)

no longer affects: ubuntu-qa-website
