Multiple copy option fails if preview not used

Multiple copy works if preview option is checked. Otherwise the following error message if presented when trying to scan the second page:

Please try with version 1.44

I downloaded iCopy binaries version and it does not contain 1.44, rather it has 1.43. So I downloaded the install version and it contains iCopy 1.44. However 1.44 behaves the same as 1.43 and possibly worse because it crashes when doing a simple scan to printer without preview nor multiple pages. Here is the full error text:

This exception comes from the WIA interface and is not documented, so I need to investigate on it. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
