Bug Description
Greetings. ICopy1.43.zip, ~2003 XP system with SP3. Icopy crashed until I did the "regsvr32 wiaaut.dll" thing -- as did WIADiagnosis -- but after that it come up. But clicking the button does nothing; no scanner noises, no print; doesn't take any time, comes back almost immediately. Checked "preview"; button still does nothing. "Choose scanner" showed me the attached "Canon N670U"; when I clicked "properties" on that, and did the "Test Scanner" button the scanner made noise and after a while it claimed it passed the test. The printer is a network printer which of course works on numerous other things; don't have a local printer on this computer. And the scanner works fine from within several versions of Paint Shop Pro.
This XP system is probably pathological by now and should be wiped, whereupon I expect everything would start working magically after a few weeks of update and program installation. ... But I figured you might want to know icopy was doing out here....
// So I tried with two local PDF printers; same deal, no scan/print.
-- best wishes,
