Bug Description

update:
- this bug was filed previously here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/770588
- the suggestion to fix this issue was to reimage the scribe, which was done in November 2011, but this bug still occurs

below is the original bug description:
scirbe3.sanfrancisco.archive.org will randomly log out of ubuntu. The user will have to enter the scribe password and restart any programs that were in use (usually Firefox and openoffice spreadsheet).

I checked various ubuntu settings but I was unable to find anything that related to logging out.
