work done at scribe8.capitolhill isn't showing up on Statistics dashboard

the operator working at scribe8 isn't having the work he's doing show up on the dashboard. He's working at scribe8.capitolhill

The operator working at scribe7.sanfrancisco isn't having the work she's doing show up on the dashboard. . Book missing so far is: principlesofmark3rdedit00kinn 858 pages.

Stacey, do you have an example of a book I can look for? We need to see where on the scribe the book is (it should be in one of the folders, /0/items, /0/items/process, /0/items/error, /0/items/autocrop_error, /0/items/republish, etc.)

Venus:

When i look at the stats
http://scribe3.sanfrancisco.archive.org/scribe/tracking/productivity/
i see yvonne-wang listed, and in her tally is the
principlesofmark3rdedit00kinn book (from clicking on her name).

Stacey:

Is this the stats dashboard or the republishing dashboard?

Please attach to the bug report the login name of the scanner as well
as the identifier for at least one of the books that he scanned that
did not appear in his tally (if it is the stats dashboard).

Both ---- please correct me if i'm missing the point of just what
the problem is. Also please specify the URL you are using,
including the host, for whichever dashboard isn't showing what
it should.

Jude, scribe9.sanfrancisco, all books are listed on the republishing dashboard. The complete stats are missing on the stats board. Also I don't even see scribe9 listed at this time. I have tried 2 laptops. Same results. thx

Hello Dan,
I see that you signed on in your url through scribe3. Our office laptop
is scribe6 & on my laptop I was using scribe8.
Your url is accurate. Using scribe6 or scribe8 was not connecting
properly to give us the correct stats for some reason.

Thanks Venus.

All the scribes should work, and if they don't, we should figure
out why.

Stacey, when you get in tomorrow, if you are still having an issue,
please give all this info: scribe (which you have already),
sample identifier which is missing, operator (as they would log in by),
and the full URL to the dashboard which is not reflecting what the
scanner has done. And thanks!

Something went wrong with that machine August 1.

Can you recall anything unusual then?

It acts as though some piece of software was
uninstalled that day.

Hi Stacey,

So what happened was that one piece of the scribe software
(cook_raw.php) somehow got reverted to an older
state. (Or maybe it was never updated to begin with,
but that seems strange, because scribe6 had a later
version.)

What i did was to push out to scribe 8, and if you'll
check the stats dashboard now you'll see Daniel E's
work is now showing up.

I should have done the pushout as the very first
step in investigating the problem (but i guess i
just didn't have the presence of mind to do this).

If you can recall anything that happened on August 1
that would still be useful to know, because that's
the day the problem started. (I just wonder what
could have happened that would send this machine
back in time.)
