Bug Description
Hello,
using i8kctl fan 2 2 spins the fans for 1-2s and they are turned back off. As I understand the BIOS is overriding the settings every time. How to find the proper registers to switch fan BIOS settings "permanently"?

Just found the repository:

which does exactly what i8kutils can't for Dell 5401, it disable the fan bios control.
