I downloaded and installed "i-nex_0.5.8_amd64.deb".
Later I added your PPA and got 2 updates, but both (including the latest 0.6.0-0~git489~20140117) start kind of invisibly: I almost see a window opening, then the application icon appearing in Ubuntu Launcher, but can't see any window at all (which is a more serious bug I guess).

remove /home/username/.i-nex
Again run I-Nex.
If this not work, then send to me a I-Nex log. Run i-nex in terminal.

No change. Here's the terminal output - by the way, it seems GTK+2 Theme, GTK Icons and GTK Font are detected in the latest version except for this fatal display problem:
