Bug Description

Running Ubuntu 11.10 - Checkbox (0.12.11~ppa35.11.10) - Running the networking bandwidth portion of the test fails. Attempted via both wireless and wired interface (Networking works otherwise)

For the test to pass, effective data rate would have to be 5.4 Mbps or above, this is 10% of the max theoretical rate so the test is pretty lenient, for it to fail the system must be having some serious performance issues. We have seen some systems dip as low as 2 Mbps, which indicates a badly performing wireless/driver, so that may be what's happening here.

At this point I think the best thing to do would be to run the wireless iperf test against the wireless testing mini-lab to get more accurate performance data.

Once we have more accurate information we can decide whether this problem affects the system's certification status or merits adding a note to the certificates.

Re-ran the iperf testing 50x and generated proper results regarding threshold of acceptable levels for the wireless test.
