search results in dash are not user friendly, no search results shown when searching in wrong section.

The search results in unitys dash are not user friendly or inviting.

1. The Shortcuts section should be customizable by default (drag and drop)

2. when a user is on a non relevant section like "search files and folders" and searches for an application, no results are given.
this is an issue and creates an undesirable user experience.

As for 1), that problem will go away when the Shortcuts pane will disappear in Precise.

As for 2, yes, its a valid bug, there should be some user-friendly text asking them to double-check if they've chosen the right lens.

Marking as 'opinion' as making dash nav customisable is something we may want to do in the future but is not in scope for this cycle (note however that bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/878318 is in scope for P). The 'no results' error messages are being discussed in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/711199
