Bug Description
In Nautilus, when you type to quickly find a file or folder, in the case of a folder, press enter and open this folder, the search text should be cleaned and allow new searches immediately. And if not typing any letter more, the search box should disappear much faster.

i couldn't agree more! this is kind of annoying when you do a quick search in nautilus, after clicking the highlight folder/file and want to quick search another folder/file, the quick search bar still remember the last typed letter, hence we will never find the thing we want to quick search since it's added with the last search keyword.
please make it automatically clear on click the highlight searched folder/file, and an automatically hidden quick search bar after an interval period would be great addition.
i never have problem with nautilus quick search from 10.04 to 11.04 (gnome classic). the old one just works! :)
