Bug Description

The problem is, that if I click on the calendar, I have to click again on the calendar, that the calendar disappears.

I think it should be better, if I can simply click on any position of the screen, and the menu disappears. Because all the other panel things like the mail icon or the volume icon are reacting like this.

As other Panel menus close when clicking anywhere on the screen, I second dominiks notion.

In Ubuntu, the GNOME Clock applet will be replaced by indicator-datetime, where this behavior is already fixed.

If you want to have it fixed in GNOME you should report it there, see how to do that at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME
