Bug Description
The default width of Evolution's date column is often nearly as wide as the
subject field, leaving a lot of whitespace in the date column that could be
used to display subject column contents. By default, Evolution's date column
should occupy a fixed width just wide enough to fit its contents; furthermore,
making the evolution window wider should not increase the width of the date
column, leaving more room to increase the width of columns with wider contents
(e.g. Subject).
