2009-07-16 20:11:28 David Siegel description With Desktop Effects enabled, clicking on the volume panel applet reveals the applet menu with an animated effect unlike the revelation effect of the other panel applets. The volume applet menu should open and close in a manner consistent with the other panel applets. Steps to reproduce: 1. In Jaunty or Karmic, click on the volume panel applet to reveal its menu. Click again to close the menu. 2. Note how the window zooms in and out. Compare to the behavior of the NetworkManager applet: 1. Click on the NetworkManager applet to reveal its menu. Click again to close the menu. 2. Notice how the window fades in and out (it does not zoom). Design suggestion: Remove zoom effect from volume applet menu; ensure visual consistency with other panel applets.
