Bug Description
As per the summary, if an icon is clicked 3 times in quick succession, within the set 'double click' time, then the system takes it as if there were 2 'double clicks'. This can be very annoying especially when there is a fullscreen application or game launched because it can then cause lags due to 2 instances running.
To easily reproduce:
Copy a slow launching application launcher like firefox to the desktop.
Triple click the icon.
2 Firefox instances will start.

This might not apply to firefox, since the launcher is already in the panel, and average users generally wouldnt add another one to the desktop.
But able to reproduce this bug with Openoffice.
