Bug Description

I upgraded my ubuntu distro from 14.04 LTS to 16.04 LTS since ever then the I can't get to the ubuntu software center is not working. I had to remove/uninstall swig packages completely to continue my update.

The swig2.0 package is no longer included in any currently supported release of Ubuntu. Closing as "Invalid" in order to tidy the list of outstanding '100 Papercuts' tasks.
