Upading urllib3 to 1.14 with "sudo pip install urllib3 --upgrade" solves the problem.

This bug has just been fixed in Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=817038#26

Can someone sync the package to Xenial and Yakkety?

Sync can in for Yakkety Yak and Zesty Zapus in October. So it should be work in Yakkety and newer. Can somebody try it?
