Bug Description

Many applications that use tabbed view (like browsers, text editors) allow closing a tab with middle button mouse click. Gnome Terminal does not.

This bug also affects me. Using Ubuntu 15.04 with GNOME Terminal version 3.14.2.
It might have been designed this way on purpose to avoid accidentally closing a tab.
