Bug Description

After an upgrade from utopic to vivid, when comparing two files with meld, the background of the diff viewer is black. See screenshot attached.

My light-themes is:

nessita@miro:~$ sudo apt-cache policy light-themes
light-themes:
  Installed: 14.04+15.04.20150128-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 14.04+15.04.20150128-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 14.04+15.04.20150128-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ vivid/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Running the following did not fix the issue:

nessita@miro:~$ GTK_MODULES= meld <file1> <file2>

Steps to reproduce is just opening meld with 2 files and the background is black.
