Bug Description

Partition sizes numbers are displayed in Arabic-Indic numbers.
During Kubuntu installation, I set my country to an Arabic one. I don't remember, if numbers were set Arabic-Indic in Systen Setting -> Locale, but I think Country was the USA. I made sure numbers, money and date & time are set to Arabic (0123456789), after changing Country to mine.

It affects 2 other programs (Sorry, I don't know there package names to add them to affected packages). They are Date & Time - KDE Control Module and Touchpad Settings as shown in the snapshots.
I don't know if it affects more programs.

I found that the reason is that I chose an Arabic country, while I was installing Kubuntu.
It's repeatable. I tried it. Install Kubuntu with an Arabic country chosen then you won't be able to change your numbers configuration from Arabic-Indic numbers.

- Open terminal.
- type "cd etc/default/"
- type "sudo kate locale", then enter your administrative pass word.
- every line in this file is a variable assignment, something like this ( LC_NUMERIC="en_EG.UTF-8" ).
- change every ( ???????="??_??.UTF-8" ) to ( ???????="en_US.UTF-8" ).
- save the file.
- restart your system.
- Now your local should be (English US) globally.
