package and software disagree on version number

The program thinks it is an older version than the version indicated in the package. Either the wrong code was packaged, or the version string was not updated to reflect the current version:

I see the same difference with usb-creator-gtk (package-version) 0.2.62 on Ubuntu Vivid. Presumably there's an internal version number which hasn't been updated in sync with the package version number.

I checked back, and found that the version numbers are still out of sync on Ubuntu Groovy.

The package version (`apt policy`) is 0.3.8, but `usb-creator-gtk --version` reports 0.3.3.

Updated version strings everywhere. Also minor change to man page: date format changed to ISO 8601 (suggested by Linux man-pages project).
