Bug Description

Holding super key shows numbers on each app icon of the launcher.
In Ubuntu 13.04 daily builds this number for the last application doesn't show up and doesn't work as well (see the screenshot attached).
This never occurs for locked apps. And becomes right when another not-locked application is just closed.

I've seen this problem doesn't occur with GIMP which opens more than one window simultaneously and also webapps.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. I believe this is by design. Non-locked apps are not numbered. If you lock the app, a number is assigned.
The only non-consistent thing I can see is: if you lock the app (number assigned) and the unlock it, keeps the number until you close it.

@Alberto Salvia Novella, unfortunately I can’t apport the information, because some secure connections are blocked in my country and even proxy doesn’t work with apport. But anyway, this bug doesn’t seem per hardware. This exits in “Unity 7” on any Ubuntu version, since 12.10 to 14.04 daily (I’ve tried all, both live and installed.)

@Dario Ruellan, no, it’s enough to open another non-locked app and make it "non-last" to get the number. Numbers are for quick multitasking.
