Bug Description

We have 2 applications for storing passwords.

Passwords and keys and User accounts

I think it is counter intuitive to have them separated. they should be brought into one single places.
Changing a password should occurs as simply as possible.
You have to change your user or default key-ring password, it should be done at one place. At least for such an easy task.

I suggest User accounts should be extended to allow changing the default key-ring password.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. Thank you for your suggestion.

However, the changes you are requesting aren't really a bug and require further discussion amongst the community. This is best done on an appropriate mailing list or forum.

http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists might be a good start for determining which mailing list to use. See also https://ubuntuforums.org/ or https://discourse.ubuntu.com/

You might also want to raise this issue with GNOME as the main upstream provider of applications included within the Ubuntu distribution.

Closing as 'Invalid'. A 'papercut' is a bug which is trivial to fix and not one which requires a lot of thought as any changes may affect other Ubuntu flavours and derivatives.
