Icon for UPSes do not match Humanity style

Icon which showing status of laptops battery is OK, but for Back-UPSes gnome-power-manager using other icons (see /usr/share/gnome-power-manager/icons/hicolor/24x24/status/gpm-ups-*.png) which not overrided by Humanity icons and looks horribly now. For me simply symlinking to existing icons like gpm-ups-000.svg -> gpm-battery-000.svg etc. is fine. (really I don't see reason to have different icons for battery and UPS).

Just to be clear , when does that icon show up? is it only shown for desktops? [I'v not seen the icon used either on a laptop or a desktop with external UPS.]

With my APC UPS gnome power manager using only gpm-ups-* icons for showing all states (charging, discharging, working from AC) I never seen gpm-battery-* icons on desktop, only on laptop (not only in ubuntu, in other distributives too). I don't know why you seen them. May be your UPS was falsely detected as laptop battery? This must be cleared only by g-p-m authors :)
