Bug Description

This is more a Feature Request than a Bug Report actually.

NetworkManager, Volume Control, Gnome Power and Indicator Applet are usually placed next to the clock on the panel, they are all monochromatic and look good, but if I choose to show the weather (it's an option of the clock applet), the weather icons are multichromatic.

I think monochromatic weather icons would fit better.

These are the needed files (I guess):

/status/*/stock_weather-cloudy.*
/status/*/stock_weather-few-clouds.*
/status/*/stock_weather-fog.*
/status/*/stock_weather-night-clear.*
/status/*/stock_weather-night-few-clouds.*

I made a white background version and transparent one. Uploaded transparent.

piotrekp: Humanity uses only SVG icons.

I'm not sure whether the Humanity team wants grey weather icons, but I am sure there are people who do :)

@Gourgi: awesome, but the fog one is really awful (yeah, I know it's the "standard" one, but...) I think the three horizontal lines make more sense than a gray gradient

I made some icons in SVG format. Don't expect world class graphic design skills.

A lot of people have been talking about the inconsistency between the new monochromatic icons and the old color ones (see bug #430277 and bug #476170 for example). However, from bug #430277, it appears that the humanity devs decided to only go with the monochromatic icons for system apps like volume control and network manager. That's probably why weather icons aren't included.

@Gabe Gorelick:
Yes, that was the plan for Karmic.
For Lucid we are making it possible[code-wise] to use such specific monochrome icons only in panel and elsewhere in the system.

Once thats done , we'd *consider* adding monochrome icons.

Maybe you could include into Humanity these icons or use some resources from them..

Fix committed in rev 431.

Boy are people impatient or what ;)
I was waiting to complete the color icons and add everything at once...
Anyways , added the monochromatic icons.

The color icons are not yet completed as of yet , so the monochromatic icons might show up in other places.
