Bug Description
In some applications (like eg stiching of maps) the use
autopano is not useful. it is better to use the grid on
the map. However, the first point has to be carefully
selected for the fine tune of the second point to work
correctly. Could not autopano be used to find the most
ditinct feature (in the case of navigational maps the
crossing latitude and longitude) in the vicinity of the
cursor move the cursor to that position and fine tune
the second point?

This should fall under the "extra options to enter control points".
This is: would be a toggle that when enabled will search for a distinctive point in the close proximity of the point clicked in the first image. Thus you'd always have a reasonably distinctive point for matching with the other image.
