Bug Description
During control point detection the dialog "finding control points" opens. It has problem: it always tries to show first line of text when new text is added and you get constantly jumping content (new text is added, dialog shows that last line, then it immediately shows first line, an so on).
I using Kubuntu 20.04; GTK3 widgetset is "Emacs"
Hugin I built myself:
Operating System: Linux 5.4.0-42-generic x86_64
Architecture: 64 bit
Free memory: 1519188 kiB
Hugin
Version: Pre-Release 2019.3.
Path to resources: /usr/local/
Path to data: /usr/local/
Hugins camera and lens database: /home/senbuvis/
Multi-threading using C++11 std::thread and OpenMP
Libraries
wxWidgets: wxWidgets 3.0.4
wxWidgets Library (wxGTK port)
Version 3.0.4 (Unicode: wchar_t, debug level: 1),
Runtime version of toolkit used is 3.24.
Compile-time GTK+ version is 3.24.14.
libpano13: 2.9.19
Boost: 1.71.0
Exiv2: 0.27.2
SQLite3: 3.31.1
Vigra: 1.11.1
LittleCMS2: 2.9
I can't reproduce the issue. The dialog scrolls down to the last line here.
Using here:
wxWidgets: wxWidgets 3.1.1
wxWidgets Library (wxGTK port)
Version 3.1.1 (Unicode: wchar_t, debug level: 1),
compiled at Feb 20 2018 12:17:22
Runtime version of toolkit used is 3.22.
Compile-time GTK+ version is 3.22.30.
So this seems to be a glitch either in wxWidgets 3.0.4 or in GTK+3
