Hugin on Mac OS X crashes in Layout pane

I am using Hugin 2014.0.0 on Mac OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite.

The crash can be reproduced reliably as follows:

- start Hugin
- switch to Simple Interface
- load at least two images and supply lens data if needed
- switch to Layout pane
- move mouse pointer in main area (right-hand side), no click necessary
- Hugin crashes:
