Crash on Mac Mavericks when entering Layout tab in GL Preview

Hugin 2013.0.0 consistently crashes on my mac running mavericks shortly after entering the "Preview" tab of the GL-based preview window. Attached is the information the apple crash reporter gives me.

When it is crashing? In the title you mentioned the "Layout" tab, but in the description you said the "Preview" tab. So which tab is affected?
Does the crash happens with all projects? Or only with some?

Oh sorry, so it is crashing when I open the GL-based preview, in that window, open the "Layout" tab, and, as far as I can see, it crashes in the moment I enter the bottom right area that displays the control point fits in a planar view.

Thanks for clarification. But unfortunately I can not reproduce the issue on Windows and Linux. So it is very difficult to debug it.
So we need someone on a Mac to help with that problem.

I can also confirm that this only happens on my Mac. Linux and Windows work fine.

Maybe I can find some time at the weekend to compile hugin on my own to get better debugging symbols.

Ok, I tried to compile hugin on my mac but I am facing various compile errors when trying this on a system that uses homebrew to install the required dependencies. How should I report these errors?

Same for me, on my Mac running Mavericks. If someone can let me know how to retrieve debugs for Hugin, I'll be glad to help.

Hugin 2014.0.0 seems to not have this issue... Should we put the bug as "fix released" ?
