This is a known issue. It is a bug inside the external GNU make, used by Hugin.
GNU make does not handle correct parenthesis in filenames.

Workaround:
1.) Remove the parentheses in the filenames/paths.
or
2.) Downgrade to GNU Make 3.81. This version can correctly handle parentheses in filename. Only the new versions 3.82 and 4.0 have this issue.
