Bug Description
I'm trying to do a backup of files on a FAT32 partition, specifically a folder named 'Our Documents'. I can browse to the folder and select it in the hubackup GUI without any problems but when I press the 'Backup' button, the progress screen appears and almost instantly shows 'Finished', although progress icons show:
'Preparing backup' - Red circle (record?)
'Writing the backup' - pause symbol
'Verifying the backup' - pause symbol
and my desktop still shows a 'Blank CD-R disc'
If I rename the folder 'Our_Documents' it seems to work OK, but I'd rather keep the original name as it's embedded in the catalogue of the software that came with my digital camera.
PS I'm running the tool from the terminal via 'gksu hubackup' as I originally thought that the problem could be lack of permissions, and I think the problem may be the way that hubackup is formatting the parameters to 'dar', not expecting / allowing for embedded spaces in the selected folder name.
Sorry, forgot to mention I'm running hubackup 0.0.7 on Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty)
