Bug Description

My printer is printing blank pages with some sheet with 1 line of garbage for each page I print !

Same problem as: https://answers.launchpad.net/hplip/+question/87454

But I have the last driver installed and get parrallel port installation fix

See here the parrallel problem: https://answers.launchpad.net/hplip/+question/189068

And here the run "hp-check -t" result:

pc@Qualitas:~$ hp-check -t

HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.12.2)
Dependency/Version Check Utility ver. 14.3

This is free software, and you are welcome to distribute it
under certain conditions. See COPYING file for more details.

Note: hp-check can be run in three modes:
1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the
HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies
are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.
2. Run-time check mode (-r or --run): Use this mode to determine if a distro
supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball
has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode
will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).

Saving output in log file: hp-check.log

Initializing. Please wait...

Note: printer is installed and visible in Linux Ubuntu
But: HP Device manager don't see the printer so it cannot install it.

The parallel port support in HPLIP has been made passive. You need to make custom build to support parallel port.

Go to your folder where hplip-3.12.2 has been downloaded (e.g. ~/Downloads). When you ran in terminal "sh hplip-3.12.2.run", one folder hplip-3.12.2 must have been created.

Please follow the steps below in terminal.

$ cd ~/Downloads/hplip-3.12.2
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-pp-build
$ make
$ sudo make install

Now you connect your printer to machine. Run in terminal "hp-setup". It should detect your printer.
