Bug Description
With hplip 3.11.10 and Ubuntu 11.10 64bits, I can print but I cannot scan. When I run hp-check, it says that
it can't find xsane and that I need to install it :
sudo apt-get install --assume-yes xsane
Installing xsane unfortunately doesn't solve the problem.
Note : I was able to scan with Ubuntu 10.04 64bits

Laserjet Pro M1132 MFP requires a plugin file to be installed. Please run "sudo hp-plugin" in terminal. It will download and install plugin. Now you can scan.
If it doesn't work, follow the below steps:
- Copy the contents of /usr/lib64 to /usr/lib . Run the below command to do the same; sudo cp -R /usr/lib64/* /usr/lib/
- Restart your computer and check whether the scanner works.
The fix has been taken care in the next version hplip-3.11.12 release.
