Bug Description

This is a follow-up of question #175118. I think the files asked by Sanjay were not uploaded. Sorry if they were.

I wrote a little document in french that doesn't print well on HP laser P1005, with HPLIP 3.11.10, on Ubuntu 11.10.

Attached, you will find the scanned output and the content of /var/spool/cups/d*.

Hi,

I fired the attached pdf on a similar device "HP Laserjet P1008" and it works just fine. In order to find the root cause I need some more logs.Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please follow following instructions.

    a)Open /etc/cups/cupsd.conf in root mode and replace

        LogLevel warn

          with

       LogLevel debug
       hpLogLevel 15

    b) Open Terminal and run following commands:
       => sudo su
       => /etc/init.d/cups restart
                  or
       => service cups restart
       => cd /tmp
       => rm *.out
       => rm *.bmp
       => hp-check -t > /tmp/hpcheck.log
       => cat dev/null > /var/log/cups/error_log

    c) Try to print the file and then send
          => /var/log/syslog (if present),
          => /var/log/messages (if present),
          => /var/log/cups/error_log
          => /tmp/*.bmp
          => /tmp/*.out
          => /tmp/hpcheck.log

Thanks,
Sanjay
