Bug Description
I'm trying to print the Ubuntu default test page on an HP LJ MP2727 with the device URI of hp:/net/
I received the error "No %%Bounding box: comment ..."
So I switched to the URI socket:
and now it works fine. Must be a bug in the hp to cups translation of eps or they left off the bounding box on the test page.

The problem you are suffering is not caused by the "No %%Bounding box: comment ...", probably you get this message also if you print successfully via the socket backend. The problem seems to be in the hp backend, making this backend not working with your printer. Use the socket backend as a workaround for the time being, by creating a second queue for printing. Do not remove the queue with the hp backend. It makes HPLIP recognizing your scanner and allows HPLIP to check your toner level.
