Bug Description

printing a jpeg with any application gives colours which are too saturated, though the same pic is rendered correctly on a deskjet 5550. Printing the same jpeg by using the HP print manager gives expected result.

Thanks to Goutam for responding to my initial question. I am attaching the files requested.

In Fedora 15 there is no syslog file in /var/log; there is one in /var but it is empty

Hi James,

There were some changes with respect to color space in the latest GhostScript (gs - 9.2+) which might be causing the issue. You can safely change the cups ColorSpace value to 1 from 17 in the ppd.

Will try to figure out the root cause on the issue reported.

Thanks & Regards,

Have changed the ColorSpace value to 1 as suggested and the colours now print correctly.
