Bug Description

When scanning from automatic sheet feeder on HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 the scan is really really long and completely unusable. It seems to scan the document correctly and then add loads of whitespace to the bottom of the document. Scanning from the flat bed is no problem but the auto sheet feeder is effected. Please find example scan attached.

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 with HPLip 3.11.5

Hello Robert,

I tried the scanning from ADF in HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910. I didn't find any problem (time delay or adding extra white-space at the bottom). Can you please check once again. Don't use too much high resolution while scanning as it may take long time. I couldn't see the scan data in the file attached. Please attach once again. Let us know what are the parameters set in Xsane while scanning.

Regards,
Sarbeswar
