Make -> can't read /usr/lib/libieee1284.la (M2009.1 & 3.9.12)

after make I get the following information:
grep: /usr/lib/libieee1284.la: No such file or directory
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libieee1284.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libieee1284.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make: *** [scanext.la] Fehler 1

existing path are:
ls -la libieee*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2009-12-17 21:24 libieee1284.so.3 -> libieee1284.so.3.2.2*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 42452 2009-01-26 14:16 libieee1284.so.3.2.2*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 546 2009-04-06 21:21 libieee.a

Please note the same procedure with Mandriva 2009.1 and version 3.9.8 worked on 13.10.09 well, but now also 3.9.8 has the same problem
