openSuSe 11.2 HP P1006 print manager states job printed but it didn't

Performed automatic install twice via "sh hplip-3.9.12.run". Print manager functions in all areas except that there is no paper output.

Printing worked fine under openSuSe 11.1 with tar zxf foo2zjs.tar.gz.

Also, ran hp-setup. Nothing changed.

I just ran "tail -f /var/log/messages".

error message: "SuSe hpcups[4140]: print/hpcups/HPCupsFilter.cpp 361: DEBUG: Bad PPD - hpPrintterLanguage not found"
