Bug Description

Hi, I've got a problem with my Color LaserJet 1600 with HPLIP 3.9.2-3. Colors are printed very bad and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I made this picture to test colors:

but when I print it, I get this:

notice the color of the square in bottom right corner and the crosshatch. I hope someone had the same problem I have and will help me. Thank you very much.

Hi,

Since your HPLIP version is quite old so I would suggest you to kindly upgrade to latest version 3.9.10 which can be downloaded from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html . Make sure that after installation all the dependencies are satisfied and the installer should not complain about any missing dependency. If the problem still persists then send me the output of "hp-check -t" as run from shell/terminal without the quote. Also send me the image output to my email <email address hidden> as I am not able to open the printed image from the link provided by you.

Thanks for supporting HPLIP and any inconvenience in using HP product is deeply regretted.

Regards
Shakil
