Installation of v3.9.4 crashes on Jaunty

After updating on Jaunty I tried to install HPLIP 3.9.4 several times. The first steps do but at the end of the installation terminal window crashes and everything with it: the version 3.9.2 is uninstalled but 3.9.4 not installed. Something with the dependencies must be wrong.

Please post your install log. The install log is in your hplip-3.9.4b directory.

For example:

cd ~/Desktop/hplip-3.9.4b

ls | grep log

might output something like:

hplip-install_Fri-17-Apr-2009_10:19:16.log

This is the log you want to send.

Although we test on Ubuntu very extensively, so you may want to be sure that your repos are working correctly.
