With the setting for Printing on Photopaper
Best Quality Photopaper or Photopaper ...
and with the dpi-setting
1600 dpi Photo color or 600 dpi ...

all lights on the K5400 are blinking.

Hello,

I had the same problem on a Debian Lenny 5.0 with the same package.

But using the ppd file found on http://openprinting.org : http://openprinting.org/ppd-o-matic.cgi?driver=hpijs&printer=HP-OfficeJet_Pro_K5400&show=0, and configuring the printers in cups by loading the ppd file (http://localhost:631 in a web browser) i can use the printer normally.
